Wavicle Systems Corporation Announces New Investment By Warburg Pincus

    HONG KONG, July 9 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Wavicle
Systems Corporation ("WSC" or the
"Company") has announced that Warburg Pincus has
invested US$10 million in WSC.   WSC is a leading supplier
of radio frequency (RF) amplifiers to base station OEMs in
China for the development of 3G (third generation) networks
in the country according to China's TD-SCDMA standard. 
Warburg's investment will fund WSC's expansion plan to
increase its capacity for developing and producing key
components for base stations and 3G network infrastructure.
 The Company's current focus is in China, with plans to
expand internationally.
