British Wine Authority Steven Spurrier Joins WineSpring Board

expert and author Steven Spurrier to its advisory board. In
this capacity, Steven Spurrier will help spearhead the

Club in latter 2007.

his L'Academie du Vin organized the historic, `Judgement of
Paris' tasting, which put California wines on the global
map. Subsequently, Mr. Spurrier created the Christie's Wine
Course which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. As
an author, Steven Spurrier has written numerous books and
serves as consultant editor to Decanter magazine. He also
serves as the President of the Circle of Wine Writers and
an official judge to numerous wine competitions around the
world and is Chairman of the Decanter World Wine Awards and
the Japan Wine Challenge.
